Step 1. Download and Install FocuSee on Your Computer.

Visit our official website and get FocuSee downloaded onto your computer. Ensure that you have a stable network connection during the download and installation process. Follow the prompts on the screen to install FocuSee.

Step 2. Launch FocuSee.

Open FocuSee on your computer. You can either record a new video or select an existing one to begin editing.

Step 3. Choose Smart Cut Mode.

In the left panel of the editing interface, select Smart Cut to enter the silence and filler words removal feature. This AI-powered feature automatically trims unnecessary silences and filler words for smoother, natural speech flow.

Next, select the source language or let FocuSee auto-detect it, then click Start Recognition.

Step 4. Check Recognition Results.

After clicking Start Recognition option, it will start detecting silent gaps and filler words, please keep patience.

Once the recognition is complete, you will be taken to the Results page, where all detected silences and filler words are highlighted in the transcription. The Delete button shows the total number of segments selected by default. You can also manually select and remove any silent gaps or filler word segments as needed.

Step 5. Remove Silence and Filler Words.

After confirming the segments you want to delete, click Delete button.

Once deletion is complete, the number next to the Delete button will update to 0, confirming that the unwanted silences and filler words have been successfully removed.

Step 6. Filter and Reset (Optional).

By default, all recognized subtitle files are displayed, including those that have been deleted. Click the Filter icon to hide deleted segments or display all segments.

If needed, click Reset button to restore deletion and selection settings to the initial recognition state.
