Feature Clarification of FocuSee Setapp Version

If you subscribed to FocuSee via Setapp, the features available to you may differ from the version purchased directly from the official FocuSee website. This page explains the specific differences and the reasons behind them.

Differences Between the Setapp Version and the Official FocuSee Version

First, we want to clarify that the FocuSee version offered on Setapp is also the result of an official collaboration between FocuSee and Setapp. Therefore, you can confidently subscribe to FocuSee via Setapp. However, due to differences in the application ecosystems of FocuSee and Setapp, the following features are temporarily unavailable in the Setapp version of FocuSee:

● AI Virtual Avatars

● AI Filler Word and Silence Remover

● AI Subtitle

● AI Voice Enhancement

Apart from these four features, the functionality provided by the Setapp version of FocuSee is completely consistent with the official FocuSee version.

Why These Features Are Not Available in the Setapp Version of FocuSee?

The four AI-related features mentioned above all require the consumption of AI Credits to use, and each AI Credit incurs a fixed cost for us. However, due to differences in the application ecosystems of FocuSee and Setapp, Setapp FocuSee users won’t be able to purchase AI Credits at present. Consequently, these four features become unavailable in the Setapp version of FocuSee.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter. If you genuinely wish to experience the missing features, you can resubscribe through the official FocuSee website after your Setapp subscription ends: https://focusee.imobie.com/pricing.htm

Future Plans

The current inability to provide these specific features may be temporary. We will continue working with Setapp team to explore solutions for bridging the ecosystem differences between the platforms. Once an effective approach is identified, we will promptly complete the integration of the missing features.
